Ceremonial Opening in the Warsaw School of Economics

Ceremonial opening of the edifice C of the Warsaw School of Economics has taken place on the 7th of the December 2006. In the ceremony appeared not only the highest authorities of the School and the Design Team KONTRAPUNKT but also many distinguished guests. It is one of the most up-to-date and high-tech university building in the country. All the didactic accommodations have the highest quality audio-visual equipment. On the six levels there is enough room for a four faculties, three assembly halls, twelve seminary rooms, ten computer rooms and another ten lecture rooms as well as a coffee house and a spacious terrace. Remarkable is an underground parking lot which comes twelve meters down. This kind of used solution is pioneer in Poland because parking of the cars is proceeded by an automatic machines (produced by Wohr Auto Parksysteme) without participation of a driver. The whole building is completely adjusted to the needs of a disabled user.
