The new seat of
the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management will be
built in Łódź at a green street of Stanisław Dubois. The building designed by
KVP Team under the management of Arch. Katarzyna Florek will be an energy
efficient building, using sources of renewable energy, such as photovoltaic
cells, heat pumps and solar collectors. Thanks to such approach, the power
consumption will not exceed 35 kWh/m2 per year. Biologically
active surface will not be less than 50% of the project surface area. In the
building there will be also an exhibition-didactic room connected to a
conference room.
