WHAT CONNECTS THE INSTITUTE OF PSYCHOLOGY AND THE MUSEUM OF ZOOLOGY?

The answer is simple. Both institutions operate within Jagiellonian University and share the same address. Therefore, to enable the Zoology Museum operate during reconstruction works of the building at 6 Ingarden Street, the Kontrapunkt V-Project Investment Team under the supervision of Arch. Ewa Dobrucka, will elaborate an additional design that will facilitate the access to the museum from the internal piazza. This will constitute an additional design to the completed and handed to the investor, detailed design of the extension of the Institute of Psychology.To some of the most significant exhibits of the Zoology Museum, founded in 1782 belong, among others: the skeleton of a wooly rhinoceros and blue whale, a skull of Steller's sea cow as well as the collection of phytolits, shells and butterflies from all around the world.
